Surefix adhesive
Uses:
fixing ceramic and mosaic files to clean and form walls of gypsum building board, cement sheeting and cement render in kitchens, bathrooms and laundries. Do not use between two non-porous surfaces as the adhesive will not set. Not suitable for immersed applications (Construction Chemicals provide
other systems).

Surface Preparation
Surfaces must be structurally sound, free from dirt, dust, grease, and other contaminants. Cement render must be 7 days old.
Building boards must be firmly fixed at 450mm centres to restrin movement with rough side out where possible. Remove any paint! and prime highly absorbent surfaces (i.e. cement sheeting) with Primebond and allow to dry before application of adhesive.
A guide to tile joint sizes
Internal minimum 2mm, external minimum 4mm or as specie by the tile manufacturer and AS3958.1. Do not fix tiles it it. joints. When grouting joints of less than 3mm we recommend mixing the grout with Primebond. Greater care is needed to place the grout deep into joints before pointing the joints to compact the grout surface.
Application
Apply with a notched trowel. For tiles 400mm x 400mm or greater use a 12mm notch and butter tile back (as per the Australian 2mm for walls and 3mm for floors, to accommodate movement.
Standard AS3958.1). The final bed thickness must not be less than Spread about 1 metre at a time. Tiles must be set in place while the adhesive is still wet on the surface. Press tiles firmly into the into the adhesive so no voids occur beneath the tiles. Do not
